According to Sky Sports Italy, Parma is close to signing Lanus defender Valenti.
The report claimed that Parma will introduce Valenti in a rent-and-buy manner, and they will add a mandatory buyout clause of 8 million euros.
Only 21 years old this year, Valenti came out of Lanus’ youth training. His contract with the team will expire on June 30, 2022.
As a central defender, Valenti played 22 times in the Argentine Super League last season, scoring 3 goals and sending 1 assist, of which he helped the team complete 4 clean sheets.
Valenti will land in European football for the first time. He will also be the latest player to be sold by Lanus. The Argentine team sold Moreno to Atlanta United on Tuesday.
